Rosebowl Bound

What a joy Pearson was...... we arrived plenty early, Jim having the idea we could get through security and hang out in the lounge. Us customs had other ideas that being staggering access based upon departure time.

So we hung out for an hour until they let us approach customs, went through no problem, then regular security which was pretty quick because we all had to drop baggage off since they weren't allowing carry-on.... still a more thorough scrutiny for sure. Then when we were through that, there was a further checkpoint.... manual search of purses and complete pat-down.  Once we were on the flight we recognized a tactical error. We were at the airport at 9:00 for a 12:00 flight and Air Canada no longer serves meals (who knew?).

Around 3:30 we caved and spent $7 for a small tube of pringles not having been tempted by their other offerings. Extortion pure and simple. Upon arrival we collected our mini-convertible set up the GPS lady (who will be referred to in less glowing terms later) and made our way to our suite at the W hotel which is pretty much on the grounds of UCLA which is a beautiful campus.

Sushi for dinner and bed.

Dale

Yes its me Dale......and this is where I take the time each night when I travel, to reflect.  Which is a modern way of saying I'm just trying to remember what I did from one day to the next.  Things can get muddled on holiday and a doumented blog can save on future fights...... especially when I can change the date in the database at will.
